Order Status Notifications

What's Changing?

Effective February 14, 2025, you will receive order status notification emails for White Cap truck, will call, ready will call or 3rd party carrier orders. You can decide how you receive notifications (either through email, text or both) and can decide which notifications you want to receive such as shipping, POD, etc. You can also set up text alerts. To do this, please sign into your account and visit "Order Status Notifications" in your account menu.

What are the Benefits?

You can now self-serve how and when you receive updates to your orders. If you create a whitecapshop.com account and link it to your White Cap account number, you can take advantage of our other web features such as; order history, print/download POD’s, see your custom pricing, and more!  

What are Order Status Notifications?

Notifications are categorized as follows:

  • Sales order acknowledgments (SOA) – Order confirmation notification
  • Advanced ship notice (ASN) – Order update notification
  • Proofs-of-delivery (POD) – Order complete/delivered notification
  • Proof-of-delivery reporting - A daily or weekly summary of all orders that receive a POD during the selected reporting time (day/week)

I don’t want to receive all email notifications. How can I manage which ones I get?

You can create a linked whitecapshop.com account to manage your subscriptions (notifications). (Note: Your whitecapshop.com account must be linked to your White Cap account number.)
